COVID-19 Update 19/06/2020:
As per NHS guidance released on the 17th June 2020, we are now able to accept routine appointments once again. We are fully complying with government guidelines in response to coronavirus and implementing the necessary measures to minimise infection risk and ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
Please note that we are operating on a restricted basis with fewer appointment slots available. Therefore, we encourage you as much as possible to book via our online diary. You can still call us on 01302 349193 to make an appointment however we may not be available to answer. Some children and adults struggle with reading and writing, causing them to lag behind in certain subjects. The condition can be frustrating and distressing as the person is otherwise intelligent and there appears to be no apparent reason for the difficulty. These individuals are regarded as having a specific reading difficulty or suffering from, Visual Stress which is often called dyslexia. Symptoms may include:
Edwards & Walker is now able to provide an assessment to test for Visual Dyslexia – a tailored, visual evaluation based on the patients specific visual difficulties, including tests not normally included as part of a standard eye examination.
