With a career spanning over 20 years, and having previously worked at the prestigious Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, Pretty has been the lead optometrist at Edwards & Walker Opticians in Doncaster now since 2015.

In addition, she has worked tirelessly to help develop and represent eyecare across all walks of life including trips to Botswana and Zambia to deliver vision aid overseas and training to students who have no access to optometry teaching – an experience which she describes as truly humbling.
