I recently had my routine eye check all was excellent both the consultation and selection of glasses. I joined the E&W Club which offers discounts which but proved to be a good decision for a very different reason. I didn’t realise the extent of a problem I had but because E&W club also offered emergency eye care it prompted me to book an unscheduled appointment and resulted in me going to DRI the same day and receiving urgent treatment on my eye. I certainly will continue ‘seeing’ Dr Pretty Basra and her team who are so friendly, professional and empathetic, genuinely in my honest opinion I can highly recommend E&W. Thank you E&W and your ‘club’ which prompted me book the additional appointment I might not have made.

The ladies are just so good at what they do very thorough eye test Pretty runs the whole operation so well my wife and I have used this optician’s for over 5 years it is the best. The glasses we have are tinted and light reflective so no need for sunglasses it a pleasure to look forward to when we need glasses.
Always professional, friendly. Makes it a pleasure to have eyes tested.

How lovely to be welcomed by Edwards and Walker Opticians as a new customer. Sent immediately for double cataract surgery, I now have received a prescription for new glasses. Delightful to be welcomed and treated as an individual whose needs are my own and whose person is valued.

I am so pleased I have discovered Edwards & Walker Opticians. For me they are the best Opticians I have used. The staff are so friendly and everything is explained during the initial tests before the actual eyesight test. The eyesight test was thorough and carried out professionally and I was informed that I needed an update in one of my lens. I was asked if I wanted to look at new frames but felt under no pressure.
My update was minimal but after discussing my situation I made an informed decision to purchase some new glasses. I am very happy with my experience from start to finish and I will be using these Opticians again.

I was highly impressed by the professionalism and expertise of the staff. The premises have been beautifully refurbished since my last visit, creating a welcoming and modern environment. The eye examination was thorough and unhurried, and the selection of eyewear was both extensive and of excellent quality. I would especially like to commend Lily for her exceptional customer service, she was courteous, knowledgeable, and offered invaluable assistance in helping me select the perfect pair of glasses. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to others.

Cannot fault Edmund and Walkers in Doncaster. We have been going there for years. My son had issues with his sight it was picked up on a visit for a routine test. Would highly recommend them.

I visited the opticians for the first time after being recommended by a friend after I had been to A&E for an eye problem with no relief. It took Dr Basra seconds to diagnose my issue (which was a piece of plastic stuck in my eye) she prescribed my treatment and I was on my way. Although I would happy to stay as it’s an absolutely stunning waiting area! Thank you so much for my first class treatment. Highly recommended, if I ever need to visit an opticians again this is my first port of all.

I can’t praise this company enough. For each aspect of service that I could think of, it reaches 10/10 on all. Professionalism and efficiency, class of their own. So friendly and so helpful, the staff provide excellent care and guidance. We are lucky in Doncaster to have them. I moved to them in January 2024 and it was the best thing I did.

I would just like to thank Edwards Walker for highlighting the problem with my husband Steve’s vision and organising a referral to the hospital, he was seen next day and after test they found he had a mini stroke, he’s now being looked after at hospital.
