We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be launching an Optical Styling Service at Edwards and Walker Opticians!
We understand choosing glasses can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially as some people wear their glasses all day, every day. Our optical styling service will elevate this experience, turning a quick decision into a bespoke consultation.
Under the expert guidance of our professionally qualified optical stylists, we’re making the process of choosing glasses easier, so our patients never have to worry about finding the right frame that best suits their face shape, skin tone or style again.
Why are we launching optical styling at Edwards & Walker?
Similar to wearing different shoes for a wedding and to walk the dog, patients should have different pairs of glasses for different occasions.
However, what we’re finding is many patients are choosing a one size fits all option for their frames. This can mean settling for something functional that doesn’t truly reflect their lifestyle or personality.
For many people though, glasses are a constant on their face. They’re as much a part of their appearance as their hair or the clothes they wear.
So finding frames that suit them and make them feel confident can make a real difference.
At Edwards and Walker Opticians, we see glasses as both a key part of our patient’s personal style as well as a clinical necessity, so it’s worth getting this just right.
How will optical styling at Edwards & Walker Opticians work?
Our Optical Styling service will involve three main stages designed to make choosing glasses easier, more enjoyable and tailored to you.
Step 1
One of our qualified optical stylists will carry out an extensive questionnaire, asking you all about your lifestyle, fashion choices, what you’re hoping for from your frames. This will allow the stylist to gather important information to make a really informed decision later on in the appointment when selecting frames.
Step 2
Next, the stylist will complete a colour analysis. This identifies the colour palette that works best with your complexion, helping to ensure the style and shade of the frame work with you and your wardrobe.
Step 3
The final step is the glasses selection. Gathering everything they’ve learned throughout your appointment, the stylist will curate a refined selection of frames, taking into account what they have discovered about your style, needs and preferences during the service.
The stylist will then spend time with you discussing the reasoning behind each choice, allowing you both to make a well-informed decision about your new frames.
Of course, your prescription and any clinical requirements will also be taken into account, as this is a highly important part of the process, as well as the style and comfort of your new glasses.
Appointments will be available to book very soon. However, if you’d like to learn more or want to be the first to hear when we officially launch, call us on 01302 34193, or email at info@edwardsandwalker.com.
